LightXtreme VPN Terms Explained
This page sets out the rights and duties on both sides of a LightXtreme VPN account: signing up, paying for a plan, using the client and asking for help once something goes wrong. Nothing here is written to be clever. A subscription is counted one way, refunds are handled one way, and the list of what you may and may not do is right below. Installing or running LightXtreme VPN counts as accepting these terms.
1. What you are signing up for
LightXtreme VPN speeds up connections across regions and protects your privacy at the same time, with apps for Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, Android TV, Apple TV and Linux as well as browser extensions. Servers number more than 2,000 and they sit in over 70 countries and regions; the client shows the nodes that are live.
Trying it and subscribing
Your first download starts with a 30-minute free trial. Everything afterwards is a paid subscription, and no matter which plan you pick you may keep 3 devices connected at the same time on one account.
Payment channels
You can pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, UnionPay, credit cards, PayPal, Google Play or Stripe. The plan becomes usable right after the payment goes through, and how quickly the money settles depends on the provider you used.
2. Refund conditions
We back the service with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Ask for a refund from inside the client or by email within 30 days of activation, explain how the service worked for you, and we will take it through. Approving a refund ends the plan it relates to. After 30 days, or where the subscription has been used in part, no refund is possible unless the law demands one.
Making good for outages
Should long connection failures trace back to our servers and you report them straight away, extending your subscription by some time is how we make good for it.
3. Acceptable use
Using LightXtreme VPN means sticking to the laws and the network rules of your region, and never turning the service into a tool for anything unlawful, including but not limited to:
- attacking, intruding on or disrupting other networks or servers, or conducting fraud, phishing or other unlawful activity;
- bulk registering accounts, sharing or transferring them, or abusing trial and subscription resources through automation;
- transmitting illegal or harmful content, or infringing the intellectual property, privacy or other legitimate rights of others;
- using the service in a way that breaches the terms of the platform it is used on.
For accounts that ignore these points we may suspend access, switch off features, close the account, and where the conduct is serious we will involve the law.
4. Who owns what
The client software, the pages on this website, the interface design, the icons and the word marks all carry LightXtreme VPN and its rights holders' intellectual property. Copying, changing, decompiling, redistributing or selling any of it needs written permission first. The personal data you create while using the service in the proper way belongs to you.
Changes to the product
We revise features, node layout, plan prices and promotions from time to time and post every revision on this website. Should a revision touch the rights attached to a plan we give notice in advance, and customers who already paid keep what they bought for the rest of their paid period.
Limits of responsibility
Within what the law permits, LightXtreme VPN is not accountable for disconnections or speed changes caused by force majeure, a broken carrier or a local policy shift. Remember that a VPN reroutes your traffic, so certain sites may still turn away VPN traffic because of their own risk controls.
